This past Tuesday, the Plum Wild Ladies made some amazing bath and body products.

We made some bath fizzies to scent out bath and moisturize our skin at the same time. The turned out adorable.

We also made some body scrubs with sugar and salt bases. These are also scented with our favorite scents and have an added sweet almond oil base to them to keep our skin soft and smooth.

And lastly, we made bath bomb cupcakes! These turned out just adorable. They have a fizzie base and a bubbly frosting top!!

This was a great learning experience for us all and lots of fun!

Every Christmas it is the same thing. I work like crazy, trying to get it all done in a very short period of time. I overwork myself and have very little time left to actually enjoy Christmas with my family. I have decided that 2011 was the last year that is going to happen.

I am going to prepare ahead of time... really ahead of time. Not just the early shopping, but starting now, in January and continuing each month.

I have made a list of all the things that I normally do in late November and December and spread them out over the year. I have also added in making something for each of my family members.

Below is my list of what I am doing and when:

January

Make PJ pants for the entire family. Shop clearance fabric for cute holiday fabrics.
Make Valentines for Etsy and family. Double amount for this year and next.
Focus on gifts for Christopher
Make bath products for all the girls in the family

February

Focus on gifts for Lindsey
Bake chocolate and white chocolate chip cookies
Make birthday cards for family

Birthday = 25 cards for family

Pour candles of the month for the girls
Restock my Etsy candle supply

24 of each current scent
Add 12 new scents

March

Focus on gifts for Brian
Bake oatmeal raisin, oatmeal no bake and oatmeal scotchies
Make meatballs x 20 pounds
Make jewelry and bracelets for girls
Make our Christmas cards

April

Focus on gifts for Jamian
Bake shortbread, snickerdoodle and spritz cookies
Make ravioli – 3 batches of each flavor

Beef
Cheese
Spicy sausage
Seafood

Make pasta

May

Focus on gifts for Kevin
Bake biscotti
Make 2 pans of baked ziti

June

Focus on gifts for Emily
Dip pretzels

July

Focus on gifts for JMichael
Make almond Roca and peanut brittle

August

Focus on gifts for parents
Make divinity for Dad

September

Focus on gifts for Cindy’s family
Make rum balls
Make salsa samplers for all the men

October

Make baskets for neighbors and friends

November

Decorate house for fall/winter
Prep for Thanksgiving

December

Assemble gift baskets and deliver
Mail Christmas cards

I believe that if I get this done month in and month out, then I will have a serious leg up when Christmas rolls around. I will be adding to this list as time goes on and I remember things I need to do or add to it.
